Alternativa de tratamiento para tierras fuller contaminadas con aceite dielectrico.

At the moment one of the important environmental problems is the alteration of terrestrial ecosystems by contamination with hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. In Colombia, electrical industry uses dielectric oil like insulating system in the transforming of distribution and power, which must be put under maintenance periodically, generating remainders oily, like the fuller earth and the Kraft paper. In order to give solution this problematic one, a procedure that combines the washing to earth fuller with water and detergent to 70C, followed with a process of landfarming, obtaining total petroleum hydrocarbon diminution (TPH) superior to 73%

Actualmente uno de los problemas ambientales importantes es la alteración de ecosistemas terrestres por contaminación con hidrocarburos derivados del petróleo. En Colombia, la industria eléctrica utiliza aceite dieléctrico como sistema aislante en los transformadores de distribución y potencia, los cuales deben someterse a mantenimiento periódicamente, generando desechos aceitosos como la tierra fuller y el papel Kraft. En esta investigación se evaluó un procedimiento que combina el lavado de la tierra fuller con agua y detergente a 70C, seguido con un proceso de biolabranza, obteniéndose una disminución total de hidrocarburos de petróleo (TPH) superior al 73%
