Technological development has been very dizzying in recent decades, this brings with it new ways of doing things in the business environment. For some organizations the decision is made to be reactive and others decide to take risks in the implementation of technologies that are in an incipient stage of maturity. For each case there are considerations that can help in making the decision; However, these considerations are not limited to the scope of the business itself, but some globally available technologies, including ICT, become a really decisive factor in being able to withstand the onslaught of competition, which, today and thanks to the same technological development is not limited to the geographical. This, in turn, turns into new opportunities
El desarrollo tecnológico ha sido muy vertiginoso en las últimas décadas, esto trae consigo nuevas formas de hacer las cosas en el ámbito empresarial. Para algunas organizaciones se toma la decisión de ser reactivos y otras deciden tomar riesgos en la implantación de tecnologías que están en un grado incipiente de maduración. Para cada caso hay consideraciones que pueden ayudar a la toma de la decisión; sin embargo, estas consideraciones no se limitan al ámbito del propio negocio, sino que algunas tecnologías disponibles globalmente, en inclusive las TIC, se convierten en un factor realmente decisivo para poder soportar los embates de la competencia, la cual, hoy en día y gracias al mismo desarrollo tecnológico no se limita a lo geográfico. Esto, a su vez, se convierte en nuevas oportunidades.
