El presente trabajo analiza "Informe sobre ciegos", -un pasaje de lanovela Sobre héroes y tumbas, de Ernesto Sabato- a la luz de la ontología deldevenir propuesta por Gilles Deleuze. Esta lectura encuentra que la pérdida de lavista impide la reconfiguración de la personalidad a partir de la mirada del otro,lo que da lugar a un devenir-animal que transforma la condición del protagonistay del personaje que lo narra
