The Logistics System is of vital importance for an organization, its operational function being to understand all the activities and processes necessary for the strategic administration of the material, informational and financial flow of any company; in such a way that it is possible to reach the customer with the right amount, in the right place, at the right time and at the lowest possible cost. In this sense, the Meat Company of Pinar de l Rio, created in 1976 with the purpose of producing and marketing fresh and processed products of beef and pork origin for legal entities, has identified in its Integrated Management System as a support process the logistics system for the supply, production, distribution and reuse which does not achieve the desired results in terms of effectiveness and efficiency due to the instability of suppliers in the supply of raw materials, materials and supplies in terms of quantity, quality and compliance with the agreed dates , lack of means of transport and insufficient refrigerated storage capacity. With the aim of r eversing this situation in the 2019 / 2020 period, an investigation was carried out using the Historical / Logical and the Systemic / Structural theoretical scientific methods and the empirical method with the techniques of documentary analysis, checklist and interview, which yielded the need to introduce improvement actions to increase its effectiveness
El Sistema Logístico es de vital importancia para una organización siendo su función operativa comprender todas las actividades y procesos necesarios para la administración estratégica del flujo material, informativo y financiero de cualquier empresa; de tal manera que se logre llegar al cliente con la cantidad adecuada, en el lugar correcto, en el momento apropiado y al menor costo posible. En este sentido la Empresa Cárnica de Pinar del Rio, creada en 1976 con la finalidad de producir y comercializar productos frescos y elaborados de origen vacuno y porcino para personas jurídicas, tiene identificado en su Sistema Integrado de Gestión como proceso de apoyo el sistema logístico para el aprovisionamiento, producción, distribución y reutilización el cual no logra los resultados deseados en cuanto a eficacia y eficiencia por la inestabilidad de los proveedores en el suministro de las materias primas, materiales e insumos en cuanto a cantidad, calidad y cumplimiento de las fechas pactadas, déficit de medios de transporte e insuficiente capacidad de almacenamiento refrigerado. Con el objetivo de revertir esta situación en el periodo 2019 / 2020 se realizó una investigación utilizando como métodos científicos teóricos el Histórico / Lógico y el Sistémico / Estructural y el método empírico con las técnicas análisis documental, lista de chequeo, entrevista y método de expertos para analizar la efectividad económica, que arrojó la necesidad de introducir acciones de mejora para incrementar la eficacia del mismo
