Health constitutes a privilege for all countries, being an indispensable factor in human beings, not only favors their quality of life, but also guarantees the survival of the species. Resulting necessary to have the necessary amount of human resources to meet the needs of customers (patients and companions) in the service provided. The hospitals present different health services, in relation to the pediatric ones, they consider Neonatology a priority. The present investigation establishes as a general objective: to carry out an analysis of the quantitative planning of human resources in the Neonatology service. For this, the Nazur Borrás procedure (2023), phase II, was taken as a basis. Diagnosis, step 7, task 1. As a result of its application, the current diagnosis of the quantitative planning of human resources in the selected hospital health service is made. During its development, theoretical methods such as analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and historical-logical were used. In addition, empirical methods such as: documentary and bibliographic review, brainstorming, direct observations, questionnaires and interviews
La salud constituye un privilegio para todos los países, siendo un factor indispensable en los seres humanos, no sólo favorece su calidad de vida, sino también, garantiza la supervivencia de las especies. Resultando necesario contar con la cantidad necesaria de recursos humanos para satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes (pacientes y acompañantes) en el servicio prestado. Los hospitales presentan diferentes servicios de salud, en relación a los pediátricos, consideran prioritario el de Neonatología. La presente investigación establece como objetivo general: realizar un análisis de la planificación cuantitativa de los recursos humanos en el servicio de Neonatología. Para ello, se tomó como base el procedimiento de Nazur Borrás (2023), fase II. Diagnóstico, paso 7, tarea 1. Como resultado de su aplicación se realiza el diagnóstico actual de la planificación cuantitativa de los recursos humanos en el servicio de salud hospitalario seleccionado. Durante su desarrollo se utilizaron métodos teóricos como el análisis-síntesis, inductivo-deductivo e histórico- lógico. Además, de métodos empíricos tales como: revisión documental y bibliográfica, tormenta de ideas, observaciones directas, cuestionarios y entrevistas
