In this article, the results of the analysis carried out on the spanish education laws approved from 1990 to 2013 is presented. The analysis is focused on the treatment of affective-sexual education in kindergarten and primary education. The preambles of the education laws approved in this period and the current Royal Decrees for Kindergarten and Primary education (year 2015-2016) have been revised. The methodology employed has been qualitative analytical. It is concluded that, even if during the last quarter of century the affective-sexual education has been included in the Spanish education laws, it has not been adequately developed
En este artículo se presentan los resultados del análisis realizado sobre la legislación educativa española aprobada durante el periodo 1990 a 2013, centrado en detectar si se ha venido trabajando la educación afectivo-sexual en las etapas de infantil y primaria. Se han revisado los preámbulos de las leyes aprobadas en este periodo y los actuales Reales Decretos de Educación Infantil y Primaria (curso 2015-2016). La metodología empleada ha sido cualitativa de corte analítico. Se concluye que, aunque durante el último cuarto de siglo la educación afectivo-sexual se recoge en la legislación educativa española, ésta no se ha desarrollado adecuadamente
