"The adventures of Jodelle"...
Along their stories, comics have reflected the city configuration settings and mismatches in the collective imagination. The views of different authors compose a virtual mapping in which the metropolis is presented as a protein, mutant concept and that seems to offer a specific morphology to each proposed look. These urban transformations are nothing but the embodiment of an idea in which the city, and especially the public space, provides the way society is organized. This study aims to address certain proposals for urban and social models that Pellaert Guy and Pierre Bartier in a new way, anticipated in "The adventures of Jodelle". Here, the postmodern city is presented for the first time in comic, a city that anticipates a contradictory and hybrid system of references that lead to anachronistic speculations, signified by a striking pop image processing. Some of the aspects addressed appear just tacked, but determinedly marked the new direction that the metropolis was going to take in upcoming years
El cómic ha reflejado a lo largo de sus historias los ajustes y desajustes de la configuración de la ciudad en el imaginario colectivo. Las visiones de los diferentes autores componen una cartografía virtual en que la metrópoli se presenta como un concepto proteico, mutante y que parece ofrecer una morfología concreta a cada mirada propuesta. Estas transformaciones urbanas no son sino la materialización de una idea en que la ciudad, y sobre todo el espacio público, establece el modo en que se articula la sociedad. Este estudio pretende abordar ciertas propuestas de modelos urbanos y sociales que, de modo novedoso, anticiparon Guy Pellaert y Pierre Bartier en "Las aventuras de Jodelle". Aquí, se presenta por primera vez la ciudad posmoderna en el cómic, anticipando un sistema de referencias contradictorias e híbridas que dan lugar a especulaciones anacrónicas, significadas por un impactante tratamiento pop de las imágenes. Algunos de los aspectos abordados aparecen apenas hilvanados, pero marcaron de modo decidido el nuevo rumbo que iba a tomar la metrópoli en los años posteriores
