The Digital Transformation (TD) has improved processes in different fields of the productive sector, this has not been alien to the health sector, even before the COVID-19 pandemic, there was already talk of the use of information and communication technologies in health (TICs), different Colombian and international entities, regulations and authors confirmed that these technological tools should be implemented in the provision of health services, using these tools for patient monitoring, data recording and analysis, management of the electronic medical record, generating greater security in storage, among other activities that were potentiated when the pandemic forced entities to digitize, this also became a challenge for all human talent and patients, but at the same time it could facilitate the care and access to health services. This is why a reflection of the documented experiences on the Digital Transformation in Health is carried out, highlighting its social impact, the updates and technological changes that different entities have implemented, in order to provide solutions to human needs in the field of life and health care
La Transformación Digital (TD) ha mejorado procesos en diferentes campos, esto no ha sido ajeno al sector salud, incluso antes de la pandemia por el COVID-19, ya se venía hablando del uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TICs) en el sector salud. Diferentes entidades colombianas e internacionales, normativas y autores, confirman que se debían implementar estas herramientas tecnológicas en la prestación del servicio de salud, utilizándolas para el monitoreo de los pacientes, registro y análisis de datos, manejo de la historia clínica electrónica; generando así, mayor seguridad en el almacenamiento de la información, entre otras actividades que se potencializaron cuando la pandemia obligó a las entidades a digitalizarse. Esto también se convirtió en un reto para todo el talento humano en salud y los pacientes, pero al mismo tiempo podría facilitar las atenciones y el acceso a los servicios de salud. Es por esto por lo que se realiza una reflexión de las experiencias documentadas sobre la Transformación Digital en Salud, resaltando su impacto social, las actualizaciones y cambios tecnológicos que diferentes entidades del sector salud han implementado en las atenciones, con el fin de brindar solución de las necesidades humanas en el ámbito de la vida y de la atención sanitaria
