In October 2019, Chile experienced a process of intense social mobilization throughout its territory, a social outburst that lasted until the start of the first restrictions due to the pandemic. In this framework, a qualitative study is carried out that aims to reveal narratives from multiple nuances and visions that allow re-live the lived to understand the resistance, illusions, demands, and struggles in the process of social protests in Chile.The research uses a narrative design under the modality of remote interviews, via WhatsApp, surveyed between November and December 2019. The main results show the surprising massiveness, accumulated anger, and citizen (dis)illusions, as well as the need for profound changes, historical demands, and resistance from an emotional and affective level. The novelty of the study is that it presents a view from the voices of citizens in different territories in the immediate context of the social outbreak
En octubre de 2019, Chile vivió un proceso de intensas movilizaciones sociales en todo su territorio, un estallido social que se extendió hasta el inicio de las primeras restricciones por la pandemia. En ese marco, se realiza un estudio cualitativo que pretende develar narrativas desde múltiples matices y visiones que permiten re-vivir lo vivido, para así comprender las resistencias, ilusiones, demandas y luchas en pleno proceso de protestas sociales en Chile. La investigación utiliza un diseño narrativo bajo la modalidad de entrevistas a distancia, a través de WhatsApp, pesquisadas entre los meses de noviembre y diciembre de 2019. Los principales resultados arrojan la sorprendente masividad, rabia acumulada y (des)ilusiones ciudadanas, así como la necesidad de cambios profundos, demandas históricas y resistencias desde un plano emotivo y afectivo. Lo novedoso del estudio es que presenta una mirada desde las propias voces ciudadanas en distintos territorios en el contexto inmediato del estallido social
