The general objective of this research was to describe universal learning design and its importance in Ecuadorian public education. With methodological support of a descriptive documentary type and a bibliographic design, the research was built from a quan titative perspective, which made it possible to go through the topic under investigation. With the help of the content analysis method, which was used throughout the research, it was possible to study the data collected. As a research instrument, the docu mentary analysis guide was used, which helped to extract and contrast ideas from peer - reviewed articles and theses, among others. It is concluded that the promotion of new strategies in the teaching - learning process in public education constitutes a challe nge of public management in educational matters in which parents, school, students and community must participate in order to improve inclusion policies
El objetivo general de la presente investigación fue describir el diseño universal del aprendizaje y su importancia en la educación pública ecuatoriana. Con apoyo metodológico de tipo documental descriptivo y un diseño bibliográfico, la investigación se construyó desde una perspect iva cuantitativa, lo que posibilitó el recorrido por el tema investigado. Con la ayuda del método de análisis de contenido, que se utilizó a lo largo de toda la investigación, fue posible estudiar los datos recopilados. Se empleó como instrumento de inves tigación, la ficha o guía de análisis documental, lo que contribuyó a extraer las ideas y contrastarlas, de artículos arbitrados y tesis, entre otros. Se concluye que, la promoción de nuevas estrategias en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en la educació n pública, constituye un reto de gestión pública en materia educativa en la cual deben participar los padres de familia, escuela, estudiantes y comunidad, para mejorar las políticas de inclusión
