La hipertrofia adenoidea es la afección más común en niños en muchos países del mundo, obstruyendo parcial o completamente la capacidad de respirar y causando problemas de salud que afectan la calidad de vida. El crecimiento de las adenoides ayuda al cuerpo humano a combatir infecciones impidiendo la entrada de bacterias, gérmenes y virus.
